BOMBANANA! Puzzle Modules Reference
How to identify modules, hand information between roles, use the switch workflow, and judge evidence for Level 8, Maze, Piano, Symbol and Morse searches.
Do not treat BOMBANANA! modules as one universal answer sheet. Deaf reports the visible state and location, Blind adds tactile or Braille information, Mute checks the manual, Deaf repeats one action, and Blind performs it once. Pause and reread after a light or state changes.
The handoff that works
Use module name → position → current state → manual conclusion → repeat → one action → result. This avoids applying a correct answer to the wrong panel and gives the team a recovery point after an interruption.
Switch module
Read the indicator and every switch before touching anything. Mute identifies the target state. Blind moves one switch, reports the new state, and waits for confirmation. After all switches match, press Enter as a separate step. Never copy a fixed sequence into a random layout.
Evidence status for common searches
| Search | Current conclusion | Safe action |
|---|---|---|
| Level 8 | Steam Community players describe a mural/color Symbol mechanic | Treat it as community experience and recheck the current build |
| Maze | No first-party Steam or developer module explanation found | Do not import a map from another bomb game |
| Piano | Third-party pages mention it, without an official module specification | Do not publish a fixed note or Braille table |
| Symbol puzzle | No official module specification found | Wait for traceable screenshots or an announcement |
| Morse code | Steam discussions describe a player-tested dot/dash handoff | Label it community experience, not manual text |
Level 8 and Morse have useful player leads, but not a verified official rule table. Maze, Piano and Symbol details are even less certain. The useful answer here is how to judge evidence, not an invented answer key. A version number, module screenshot and reproducible steps are needed before upgrading any of these to a definitive guide.
